About 6 months ago, I had a scooter accident in Taiwan. After the accident, I had serious pain on my back and hips, especially on rainy days. To get rid of this pain, I decided to go to get a professional massage. The masseuse told me I had a problem with my spine, which caused the pain I had. He added that he could solve this problem. So I went there twice a week for more than two months, but sadly I didn't feel any remarkable effects.
So I started googling what I could do to ease the pain. Finally, I found a blog, called BodyCare Pilates & Yoga Studio. The interesting thing is that when I found this yoga studio, I didn't realize that it was located near my house. I think it was destiny. The blog was about core muscles and reformation, which is mentioned as what is good for those who has problem on their spine. After reading this, I thought this must be the place for me. When I found this studio, it was Chinese New Year, so I had to wait for about 5 days. This is how i started yoga at this body care pilates and yoga studio.
It has been about 2-3 months since I started yoga. Now I don't have any pain on my back or hips. Right after the accident I couldn't run for more than 5 minutes. But now I can run as much as I want. More interestingly however, there were more benefits I didn't expect to gain:
1. my pre-menstrual pain disappeared for two months in a row;
